Georgian Ambassador Archil Kalandia met with the Governor and Mayor of Ordu

On 4 March 2026, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye, Archil Kalandia, held meetings with Governor of Ordu, Muammer Erol, and Mayor of the city, Mehmet Hilmi Güler.

During the meetings, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation between Georgia and Türkiye in the fields of trade and economy, transport, tourism, and agriculture.

Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassador also met with the head of the “Ordu Georgian Culture and Development Association,” Volkan Karacaoğlu, and its members. Archil Kalandia listened to the needs of the diaspora representatives and expressed his gratitude for their contribution to promoting Georgian culture in the Republic of Türkiye.

The meetings were also attended by Consul General of Georgia in Trabzon, Nikoloz Iashvili, and Chairman of the Türkiye-Georgia Business Council, Osman Çalışkan Mzhavanadze.
