Chronology of Diplomatic relations:

Diplomatic relations between Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina were established on 16 March 1998.

Fields of Cooperation:

Cooperation between the two countries is more active in international formats, rather than on bilateral level.

The first high level visit in the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries was held on 15th of August 2016 in Tbilisi. During the official visit of Igor Crnadak, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina the main of prospects of future cooperation were outlined. On March 5-6, 2018, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze paid an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Currently Georgian and BiH sides are focused on the establishment of the legal framework between the countries.
