Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye, Archil Kalandia, held meetings in cities of Ünye and Fatsa

On 3 March 2026, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye, Archil Kalandia, held meetings with Mayor of Ünye, Hüseyin Tavlı, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, İrfan Akar, and Mayor of Fatsa, İbrahim Etem Kibar.

During the meetings, particular attention was paid to current issues in trade and economic cooperation, tourism, and agriculture between Georgia and Türkiye. The importance of further deepening business contacts between the two countries was emphasized.

 

In addition, the Ambassador met in the cities of Ünye and Fatsa with the leadership and members of the “Ünye Adjara Georgian Friendship and Cultural Association” and the “Fatsa Georgian Cultural Association.”

During the meetings, the importance of coordinated activities between the Embassy of Georgia and diaspora associations was highlighted.

The meetings were also attended by Consul General of Georgia in Trabzon, Nikoloz Iashvili, and Chairman of the Georgia-Türkiye Business Council, Osman Çalışkan Mzhavanadze.
