On November 21, 2018, H.E. George Janjgava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, presented the Letters of Credence to H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey.

On November 21, 2018, H.E. George Janjgava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, presented the Letters of Credence to H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey.

During the meeting held within the framework of the Ceremony, Ambassador Janjgava and President Erdoğan focused on friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries and discussed the issues of close cooperation between Georgia and Turkey in political, economic and cultural dimensions. The sides expressed hope that Georgia - Turkey friendly relations will be further strengthened and developed.

President Erdoğan reiterated Turkey’s firm support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspiration.

Ambassador Janjgava expressed his gratitude towards President Erdoğan and underlined that he will spare no efforts to further activate relations between the two countries.

On the other hand, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wished the Georgian Ambassador a successful diplomatic mission.
